Australian contemporary artist Helen Pynor has 3 large-scale photographic works included in the exhibition 'Encyclopedia Galactica' at GV Art in London. Pynor's works explore the materiality of the human body and its interactions with consciousness, within a larger gallery retrospective exhibition to celebrate the work of the individuals who have contributed to the gallery programme during the last five years. For two months GV Art will serve as a laboratory, placing the work of the gallery and its artists within a historical context, inviting re-assessments, and igniting discussions to chart a new course for the future.
Curated by Sophia Kosmaoglou and Frances Sampayo, with the support of Robert Devcic, Jasia Reichardt and Nick Wadley.
